Choi Jae-Young
He was influenced of his father, the famous photographer, it was his dream to be a painting artist since he was young. And also all of his brother and sisters are artists. They were majored in painting, photo, design and korean classical instrument.
He was concentrated on his works about human's body and face for 8years he stayed in London. He finished the postgraduate, Art college of Wimbledon, in 2000, as he studying scrach painting, which is expresses human's love and universal feeling.
Come back to Korea, he had a exhibition the theme of 'Relationship', it was formed that lay over a various kind of people's face in 2001. In 2007, he showed 'The other world', which is child series, and it seems to be mock at our human's desire and hypocrisy. Now he is devoted entirely to painting, while joining the international art fairs and the invited exhibition in U.S.A, Germany, Swiss, France Japan, China, Singapore and Hongkong as well as in korea.

사진작가인 부친의 영향으로 어린 시절부터 미술가의 꿈을 키우며 성장하였고, 형제들은 회화, 사진, 디자인, 국악 등을 전공한 예술인이다.
8년간의 영국 체류기간 동안 인간의 사랑과 보편적 감정들을 표현한 스크래치 페인팅을 연구하면서 2000년 런던 윔블던 아트 칼리지 대학원을 졸업했다.
2001년 귀국 후 인간의 다양한 군상들을 포개놓는 '관계'란 주제의 작품전을 가졌으며, 2007년 ‘또다른 세계’ 란 주제로 인간의 욕망과 위선을 조롱하는 ‘인형 시리즈 작업을 발표하였다. 현재 한국을 비롯한 미국, 독일, 스위스, 프랑스, 일본, 중국, 싱가포르, 홍콩 등 국제적인 아트페어와 기획 초대전에 참여하면서 창작활동에 전념하고 있다.
